Tens of decades passed without any sightings of the legendary spaceship. Then, out of nowhere, during one ordinary night, space travelers of all kinds and races looked up in the sky, as it became bright as day again. Like a shooting star, the Moonshot pierced the space above them. This time it was different, though. All of a sudden, a black hole appeared near the spacecraft, sucking it inside. This was the moment all the Moonshot seekers have been waiting for. Each one of them got onto a spaceship of choice and chased the legendary object. Tens of thousands of ships disappearing in the vortex of the black hole...

...and so their story begins...

WHAT IS SMI PLAY?

SMI Play is an online gaming platform that allows users to earn cryptocurrency by playing games. In-game token items are stored as ERC-1155 Tokens on Polygon blockchain. You can either use them in games or trade on Altura Marketplace.

SMI Play will launch with one game available - “Moonshot Voyage”, with more games to join it later.

ROLE OF SMI

Users can use their DeFi (Polygon/BSC/ETH) wallet address as an account to access any game on the platform. The account and Token items are shared between games.

SMI had its ownership renounced, which makes it virtually impossible to change contract code. Original SMI is still used on the platform - games can read the SMI amount on players' accounts. SMI holders get in-game benefits from holding the token, accordingly to the amount held. The more SMI you hold, the better chance of obtaining a rare Token item you have. If you hold above a certain amount of SMI, you can also get a special Fish/Dolphin/Whale status for additional benefits, free item rewards etc.

TOKEN ITEMS

• Token Items can be obtained in a variety of ways:
  • Buying - you can buy an item directly on the Altura Marketplace
  • Earning - you can earn a virtual Moonscrap currency in game, which you can buy Token Items with. Moonscrap is not a cryptocurrency, it's purely virtual and in-game only.
  • Reward - you can get an item as a free reward for holding SMI, via the Fish/Dolphin/Whale status
  • Codes - you can get codes in various ways, that are redeemable on the platform for a set reward.
  
  
• Every Token Item you have can be used in game or traded on the marketplace.

ITEM RARITY

There are 6 tiers of item rarity in SMI Play games:
1: Common - 68.9% chance to get
2: Uncommon - 15% chance to get
3: Rare - 10% chance to get
4: Ultra Rare - 5% chance to get
5: Legendary - 1% chance to get
6: Galactical - 0.1% chance to get

Players can boost their chance to get an Uncommon/Rare/UR/Legendary/Galactical item by holding SMI on their account. This is called an SMI Rate Boost. The amount of boost per SMI is yet to be determined.

SMI HOLDER STATUS

By holding SMI, players can achieve a special SMI Holder Status:
1: Fish - needs to be holding 1M SMI
2: Dolphin - needs to be holding 100M SMI
3: Whale - needs to be holding 1B SMI

Fish, Dolphin and Whale players will get access to free daily in-game items as rewards from developers, this includes Token Items. The amount of items and their type depends on the Status.

MOONSHOT VOYAGE

Moonshot Voyage is a top-down shooter using a play-to-earn system based on SMI Play Smart NFT Items powered by Altura.

Take a role of a space bounty hunter and traverse an unknown galaxy after being sucked into a black hole while trying to find a legendary spaceship - the Moonshot. It won't be an easy task though...

Fight aliens, monsters, ghosts and other deadly creatures along the way to reach the Moonshot and all its secrets.

GAMEPLAY - SPACESHIP

Your spaceship is your hub, where you can prepare your squad, check news, upgrade your characters and weapons etc. It's the first thing you see after logging into the game.

GAMEPLAY - EXPEDITIONS

Expedition is a Survival type game mode, where you defend your base against a seemingly endless swarm of enemies. At wave 1, 20 and 40 you can choose an upgrade that lasts until the end of the current expedition. The longer you can last, the more Moonscrap you will receive at the end. The goal is to survive until wave 50 which contains a powerful boss. Beating wave 50 of the expedition grants you a place in the Leaderboards and a Moonscrap bonus for completing the run.

GAMEPLAY - RAIDS

Raids are longer levels full of enemies, puzzles and a boss fight at the end. Get to the end of the level and defeat the boss to receive Moonscrap. You need a Raid Token to gain a guaranteed 100 Moonscrap (1 NFT mint) after beating a Raid. Fish+ holders get 1 free Raid Token daily. You can also buy additional Raid Token codes on our website. Beating the Raid without spending a Raid Token will grant much lower rewards.

GAMEPLAY - ACCOUNT LEVEL

Your account can level up by gathering XP. You gain XP by playing Expeditions and Raids, as well as from holder rewards and login bonuses and other activities. Leveling up your account grants you Upgrade Points (UP) which you can spend on upgrading your NFTs and some other rewards like Moonscrap or Raid Tokens on level milestones.

GAMEPLAY - COMBAT (1/2)

Combat takes a huge part of Moonshot Voyage. It consists of shooting enemies using your character and a weapon of choice while dodging enemy attacks. Your starting characters and weapon will be weak, so you should pay a lot of attention to upgrading and optimizing your setup.

There is a broad variety of guns and weapons available for your characters to equip. Each gun can have a different look, special properties, statistics and type.

GAMEPLAY - COMBAT (2/2)

By having a high-grade characters and a good upgraded weapon you will be able to face the hardest raids and last a long time on an expedition.

Your squad is made of 3 Characters and 3 Weapons. You can freely switch between your characters during gameplay - the remaining 2 will run alongside you and help you, but with much reduced damage.

To maintain longevity of the endgame, the difficulty and upgrade cap can be increased once in a while.

STANDARD ITEMS

Standard items are not placed on the blockchain, you can get them during expeditions, raids or as rewards.

There are a few types of Standard Items:
Moonscrap - a virtual currency used to mint NFTs. You can get it by doing most of the activities in Moonshot Voyage.
Raid Tokens - used to get a 100 Moonscrap reward at the end of a Raid. You get 1 free Raid Token every day if you're at least a Fish status SMI holder.
Upgrade Points - used to upgrade your NFT's stats.
Account XP - gather it to level up and get Upgrade Points and other rewards.

TOKEN ITEMS

Token Items are placed on a blockchain, as ERC1155 tokens. These are much rarer to obtain in game, but can be bought on the marketplace.

Types of Token Items:
Characters - randomized NFTs, common type characters are not very powerful, but can be upgraded while rarer characters can have a variety of appearance details, passive or active abilities and statistics.
Weapons - randomized NFTs, they can have different appearances, range, shot speed, bullet types, spread types, properties etc.
Special Tokens - FTs or NFTs that are released for special occasions. They always have a Galactical Premium rarity.

An ancient legend says...

...that once upon a time, people of Earth saw a great, flying fortress traversing through the sky. It would brighten the night sky with its shine so much, that some people couldn't differ the night from day in its presence. The object disappeared behind the moon, never to be seen again. Because of that, people of Earth named the phenomenon - the Moonshot.

Many space travelers and bounty hunters tried seeking for the Moonshot, in a hunt for the unknown. Some said the Moonshot contained sacred treasure, others that it's powered by magic. No matter what the seekers of the Moonshot believed in, they all had one goal: to find the ship.
